Our Passion is singing choral music and spending time with like minded people! We are not an auditioned chorus and invite ALL singers.

We have been singing since 1997!
The Community Chorus in Weston draws its members from approximately 17 Boston area communities including Brookline, West Roxbury, Lincoln, Newton, Needham, Framingham, Wayland and Weston. We sing a variety of musical genres.
- All voices are welcome. We do not audition.
- You can come along at any time during the season to check us out and see if you'd like to join! Simply contact our director to arrange your visit.
- Rehearsals - we rehearse AND enjoy singing together every Monday night from September to December and again January to early May.
- Rehearsal time: 7:30 - 9:30 p.m. Monday at 150 Brown St. Weston, MA -- Fall session starts in September, 2026
- We are currently practicing in a large gymnasium space and offer a safe space to enjoy singing.
- Chorus membership dues are $175 per semester ($350 for the year), and a small cost for music given copyright laws ($20-30).
- Our concerts are held in the Weston area.

Our Music Director
Dr. Thérèse Provenzano
Thérèse Provenzano, Doctor of Musical Arts, earned undergraduate honors degrees in her majors of Music, English, Biology and Education from Brandeis University; Master of Music degrees with high honors in both music education/conducting and piano performance and a Masters in Biology from the University of Michigan; and the Doctor of Musical Arts degree in Music Education from Boston University. She studied piano with pianist Paul Badera-Skoda in Vienna, received the Phyllis Lee Coffey Award in Music at Brandeis, was a Dean's scholar at Boston University, and, in 1999, was awarded the Distinguished Arts Educator in Music for the state of Massachusetts by the Alliance for Arts Education. In the winter of 2001, Dr. Provenzano had the honor of studying with world-renowned musician/conductor, Sir Neville Marriner. Dr. Provenzano was the Choral Director for the Weston Public Schools for over 20 years before moving to private teaching. She has conducted the Weston Community Chorus for over 20 years. In addition to her music, she also participates in whale research on Cape Cod and works with the rehabilitation of injured wild animals at Wild Care in Brewster.
